Aldo Leopold said that "Our ability to perceive quality in nature begins as in art with the pretty. It expands through successive stages of the beautiful to values as yet uncaptured by language."
My work spills out around the edges of that premise because of my sheer enjoyment in the act of photography itself. It is, though, my primary driving force.
I hope my work will remind you to slow down, be more present, and connect with your surroundings. You might just learn something about yourself, and the natural world you are a part of.
